Patient Area Design.

SC Medical is widely involved in commissioning of new and upgraded patient areas as per the requirement to the Australian Standards for Cardiac and Body Protected Areas. We provide training courses on AS/NZS3003 upon every release of a new version.

A wide industry and regulatory involvement in the AS/NZS3003 with professionally qualified engineers allows us to provide a service unequalled by any other business. We are able to facilitate and help ensure healthcare facility satisfies the statutory requirements of AS/NZS3003.

Our knowledge of the standards, and over 150 years of cumulative experience in electrical construction, giving reassurance that the jobs are done right the first time. This avoids any late variations or delays at the commissioning stage due to non-compliance.

We are unique in having an extensive knowledge and being able to offer both medical gas and electrical services. This minimises the points of contact required between the contractors and the coordinators during installation. This is particularly advantageous due to the fact that coordinating gas and electrical services is time consuming, given both services are often co-located. .
